The Decision Matrix
Hey There!
We as a company and I personally had one of the most difficult years this time partly due to
1) Quick Decisions - Not well thought out
2) External Market Situation
3) Internal Stability or Calmness
I have decided to delve deeper and create a decision matrix so as to have a more structured way of decision making and avoiding some obvious pitfalls:-
1) Deep Dive -> How well you understand the product -> Performance, Market, Suitability, Decisions
2) Risk : Mitigation
3) Easier Way to Say No: Sorry, Management is not giving approval, I understand but I dont have approval or policy issue
4) Assessing Person Risk and Future
5) Write down Assumptions and question your assumptions and understand how you can verify or justify your assumptions
6) What is the worst case scenario - Dispute Handling
7) Negotiation Tactics -> Understand who is in power, Let them danlge if not urgent,
8) Take written understanding on payment terms and stick to it - Deal Professionally. Written confirmation on terms.
9) Dont make decision in haste - write down, think it out, talk it out -> understand potential risks
10) Handling comfort -> Person if any issue, will he deal comfortably or be a pain
11) Sit with your gut
12)
